Chaliwala Manish

I’m Manish and I work out of number 8 in the Anand Vatika Row House. It’s tucked away near Hanuman Chowk on Rander Road. Working from a row house is a bit different than being in a big commercial building. It feels a lot more like a home, which I think people appreciate. It’s a bit quieter and more personal. I’ve been here for a few years now. The area around Hanuman Chowk is usually quite lively, especially during festival times, but our row is a bit more set back. I started this business because I wanted to stay close to my family. I don't have a lot of employees, just a couple of people who help me out when things get backed up. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and we get right to it. It’s a simple way of doing things. I try to keep my workspace organized, but sometimes it gets a little cluttered when I’m in the middle of a big project. I don’t believe in those big corporate ways of talking. I just speak plainly and do the work I’m supposed to do. If you are coming from the main road, just look for the row houses behind the main shops. We are right there at number 8. It’s a good spot and I plan on staying here for a long time as long as the work keeps coming in from the neighborhood.
