Ambica Watch Co

Ambica Watch Co is located on the first floor of Surbhi Complex in Parvat. You have to walk up the stairs to find us, but we’ve been here long enough that most people know the way. Being on the first floor makes it a bit quieter than the shops right on the ground, which helps when you’re trying to pick up a screw that’s smaller than a grain of rice. We have rows of watches in glass cases, but the real work happens at the back. We do a lot of repairs for people in the Parvat area. Sometimes it’s just a battery, but often it’s something more complicated like a stuck hand or a broken gear. We don't use any corporate talk or big promises. We just look at the watch and tell you what we can do. The Surbhi Complex is a busy place, but once you step inside our door, it’s just the sound of clicking and the hum of a small fan. We’ve got stuff piled up in the corners—old boxes, spare straps, and calendars from years ago. It feels like a real workshop because that’s exactly what it is. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to make sure the people who come up those stairs leave with a watch that tells the right time. It’s a simple way to make a living.
