Private Clinic

We are based at House Number 130, which is known as Khan Villa, located in the Nalabal area of Nowshera in Srinagar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels very much like a part of the local community. The clinic is basically just a part of the house that we’ve set up to see people. It’s a comfortable space, not cold or sterile like some of those big hospitals. We have a few chairs for waiting and the necessary tools for the work we do. In the winter, it can get quite chilly, so we keep the heaters going to stay warm. We’ve lived and worked here for a long time, and we know most of the families who live nearby. It isn't a high-tech facility with lots of flashing screens. It's just a place where you can come and get a checkup or some advice without a lot of fuss. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days it can get a little crowded in the hallway. We don’t really do big marketing campaigns or anything. People mostly find out about us from their neighbors or friends. It’s just a local clinic in a family home, and we like it that way because it makes everyone feel a bit more at ease when they come in through the gate. We take things one patient at a time here.
