We are based at House Number 46 in the Left Lane of Khan Colony. It’s over in Chanapora here in Srinagar. Being in Jammu and Kashmir, the weather definitely dictates how our day goes. When it’s snowing, getting to the office can be a bit of a struggle, but we usually make it in. The office itself is in a residential area, so it’s quieter than being right in the middle of a commercial hub. It feels more like a home than a corporate building. We handle all the Aircel business from here. There’s a few rooms with computers and a lot of cables running around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the network status. Sometimes neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about their service. We try to stay helpful without being too formal about it. In the winters, we have the heaters going full blast while we work. In the summer, it's actually quite nice with the windows open. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and everyone in the colony knows where we are. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights outside. It’s just a regular house where we do our work every day. We make sure the paperwork is filed and the systems are up. It’s a steady routine for us, even when things get a little bit chaotic with the weather or the local power supply.
