Iqbal Abad Kangan is where you will find us. We are located in Ganderbal, and the scenery around here is something special, though we spend most of our time inside this small office. The address is pretty straightforward for anyone living in this part of J&K. We call our setup Education, which is exactly what we focus on every day. It is not a huge building, just a modest space with enough room for a few people to work comfortably without bumping into each other. The winters get quite cold, so we usually have a heater going and keep plenty of hot tea ready. We handle a lot of local inquiries about schooling and different courses. People from nearby villages often stop by when they come down to the market. We do not have a website or anything like that, so mostly just word of mouth keeps us going. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for now. We have a few cupboards full of old records and a small desk where we sit and talk to visitors. It is a very grounded way of working. No one wears suits here. We just try to be helpful to the folks who live in the 191202 area. It is a quiet life, mostly focused on getting the paperwork right and making sure everyone gets the information they need. It is just how things are done here in Kangan.
