We’ve been working from this spot for some time now, mainly focusing on our resort business. Running a resort in Srinagar takes a lot of effort, mostly because you have to stay on top of the weather and the local logistics. We spend our days dealing with the very practical side of things—ordering supplies, managing the staff, and making sure the buildings are looked after. Poloview is always buzzing with people, so it keeps us in the loop with what’s going on in the city. We don't have a big team or a lot of corporate levels. It's just us making decisions as problems come up. Sometimes things break or don’t go as planned, and we just have to fix them as fast as we can. That’s just how it is in hospitality. We care about our guests, but we don’t feel the need to use a bunch of marketing words to say it. We just do the work and let the results speak for themselves. The climate here can be tough on properties, so we are always busy with some kind of maintenance. We like being central at Poloview because it’s practical. We’re just local folks building a business, taking it one day at a time and handling whatever comes our way. It’s not fancy, but it is real work.
