We've been at Dalgate for a long time now. The building is right there in Kohnakhan. It's a mix of a hotel and a travel desk because people coming to Srinagar usually need help with both things. We handle the rooms and also help out with car bookings or trips around the valley if someone asks. It isn't a fancy corporate setup, just us working here every day to keep things running. The 190001 area gets busy, especially with the lake nearby, but our spot stays grounded. Some days are hectic when tours are leaving early in the morning and guests are checking out at the same time. We don't have a big fancy office, just the desk where we keep the logs and the keys. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. People stop by for advice on where to go next or just to stay the night before heading up to the mountains. We just try to keep the rooms tidy and make sure the drivers show up on time for the guests. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do here at Metro Hotel & Khazir Travels (P) Ltd. If you’re walking around Dalgate, you’ll find us easily enough. We keep it simple and just focus on the daily tasks at hand. It's mostly about the routine of the shop.
