Hotel Madeeha

Hotel Madeeha is tucked away inside Bishamber Nagar in Srinagar. We are near Srinagar Village, which gives the area a bit of a different feel than the center of the city. The zip code is 190001. Srinagar can be very cold in the winter, and we spend a lot of time making sure things are as warm as they can be. The building is located in a spot that isn't too loud, though you still hear the local life going on. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk to work. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It is just a place where we live and work every day. The village nearby has its own charm, and we see people coming and going from there. Sometimes the roads get blocked when it snows, and we have to shovel the entrance ourselves. It is a lot of physical work to keep a hotel going in this climate. It is a quiet existence for the most part. We are just a local spot for people who happen to be in this part of Srinagar.
