Hotel The Residency

Hotel The Residency is situated right inside the M.S Mall on Residency Road. It’s a bit of a weird spot for a hotel if you think about it, being right there where people come to shop and watch movies, but it works out okay for us. We get a lot of people coming in who are tired from traveling or just need a place to stay while they handle business nearby. Residency Road is always moving, so there is a constant flow of people past our entrance day and night. We spend our days making sure the rooms are cleaned up and that the front desk is covered. It’s not the kind of place where things are ever truly still. Even at night, you can hear the sounds of the city and the mall outside. Our staff is a mix of people who have been here for years and some newer faces. We don't spend much time on fancy speeches about what we do; we just focus on the laundry, the cleaning, and making sure the breakfast is ready on time for the early birds. Sometimes the mall gets really crowded on weekends, and that spills over into our lobby area a bit, which can be a little annoying. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical place to stay if you want to be right in the middle of things without any extra fuss. We just try to keep the place running well for everyone.
