We are based out of House No 306 in the Hassanabad area of Rainawari, right here in Srinagar. It’s a traditional kind of place, and our office is actually part of a larger house. Working at Ibm from this location means we get to see the local life of the neighborhood every day. You can reach us on the mobile at 91 9910120338 if we aren't at our desks. The rooms are a bit small, and the ceilings aren't very high, but it stays warm enough when the snow starts falling outside. We have our computers set up along the walls, and there’s always a few extra chairs for when people stop by to chat. We don't have a polished corporate image. Our signs are hand-painted, and our furniture is mostly stuff we’ve collected over the years. It’s a practical way to run things. We don't spend money on things we don't need. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the streets and the people well. The pace of life in Rainawari can be a bit slower than the big cities, and we like it that way. It gives us time to do our work properly without feeling rushed all the time. If the power goes out, which happens, we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s a simple, honest way to work in a beautiful part of the world.
