EIZIGO KASHMIR HOTEL MANAGEMENT is based out of Adil Farooq Guroo’s place in the Sonwar area of Srinagar. We mostly deal with the day-to-day operations of running hotels around here. It isn't a massive corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just us trying to keep things moving. Sonwar is a pretty busy part of town, so there is always some kind of work to be done, whether it is fixing a leak or sorting out a booking. We spend a lot of our time walking between different spots and making sure the staff has what they need. It’s honest work and it gets tiring, but that’s just how the hospitality business goes in Kashmir. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing team. Most of our work is done on the phone or in person. We focus on the practical stuff that actually matters to someone staying in a hotel. Like, is the room warm? Is the food okay? We know the local streets and the people here, which helps us get things done faster. Being an OPC means it is a small, tight operation. We don’t make a lot of noise about what we do. We just show up every day and try to make sure the guests are taken care of without any unnecessary fuss. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes with the local weather and the crowds, but we make it work somehow.
