Pratibha Junior College

Pratibha Junior College is situated in Ward No 12, Srinivasa Nagar, right here in Kasibugga. We are part of the Srikakulam district. The college has been here for several years now, serving the local students who need to finish their intermediate studies. The building is pretty standard for this area, just a regular multi-story structure with classrooms and a small administrative office. It isn’t a very large campus, so the students mostly hang out in the hallways or just outside the main door between their classes. We don't have a lot of fancy amenities, but we have the basic stuff like fans, benches, and a few labs for the science students. The heat in Srikakulam can be quite something, so we try to keep the rooms ventilated. Most of the people working here are locals from Kasibugga or nearby villages. We know the families of many of our students, which makes it feel a bit more personal. The daily routine is quite fixed, starting early and ending by late afternoon. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common around here, and we just carry on with the lessons as best as we can. It’s a practical place for learning. We don’t do any big promotions or anything like that. We just focus on the syllabus and making sure the students are ready for their final board exams at the end of the year.
