If you ever walk through C R Park, you know it has a certain feel that you don't find in the rest of Delhi. That is where we are with Waves Arts. It is not a giant studio or anything, just a cozy space where we keep all our supplies and finished pieces. There is always a bit of a mess around—paint marks on the floor, scraps of paper in the corner, and the smell of glue or ink. We don't mind it much because it shows we have been busy. The neighborhood is quiet in the afternoons, and you can hear the birds or someone selling vegetables on the street outside. We spend a lot of our time just focused on the details of whatever project is on the table. Sometimes we lose track of time and realize it is dark outside before we have even turned all the lights on. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that; it is just us doing the work and talking to people who walk in. People in C R Park know us as the place where things are made by hand. We like the slow pace of this area. It gives us room to think and breathe. Our shelves are crowded with things we have made over the months, and every piece has a bit of a story, even if we don't always share it. It is just how it is here.
