India Habitat Center, New Delhi

We are located on the 2nd Floor of House No 464 in Sunlight Colony - 2. It’s in the Harinagar area, near Ashram in New Delhi 110014. It’s a bit of a trek to get up to the second floor if you aren't used to it, but the view of the street below is alright. Sunlight Colony is a busy residential spot, so there’s always something happening outside the windows. Kids playing, vendors yelling, and the general noise of Ashram traffic nearby. This is where we run things for India Habitat Center, New Delhi. It might seem like a simple house from the street, but it’s where we do all our daily work. The office isn't very big, but we make it work. We’ve got our desks and our files, and that’s about it. It’s a very local vibe here. We know the people living in the other houses around 464. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters, just a floor in a house in a regular colony. We prefer it this way because it feels more real. Being in Harinagar means we are right in the thick of things. It’s a bit messy and loud, but it’s our base and it’s been that way for a while now. We don't need anything more complicated than that.
