The Cottage Arts Promotion

Our place is over at D-22 in the Jangpura Extension. We’ve been set up here for quite some time now, working with various arts and crafts from around the country. It’s a bit of a mix in here, with different pieces tucked into corners and stacked on shelves. We don't have a big showroom with spotlights or anything like that. It’s more of a workspace where we look at the items and figure out where they need to go next. The Jangpura area is nice because it’s got a bit of character and it’s easy for people to reach us. We spend a lot of our time talking to the artisans and checking the quality of what comes in. Sometimes the office is a bit of a mess with bubble wrap and boxes everywhere, but that’s just how it goes when you’re moving stuff around. We aren't trying to be a fancy gallery. We just want to make sure these cottage arts get seen by people who might want them. Our team is small, and we mostly just handle things ourselves without a lot of outside help. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except when a big shipment arrives and we have to scramble to find space for it all. We just keep at it, day after day, hoping that the items we find a home for are appreciated. It’s a lot of manual work and packing, but we don't mind it.
