Tapaswini Art Gallery

Our gallery is located at B-19 in Soami Nagar South, right near Panch Sheel. It’s a much quieter area compared to the rest of the city, which is nice for an art space. Tapaswini Art Gallery isn't some massive museum; it’s more of a personal, local spot where we keep things simple. The building is part of a residential layout, so it feels more like a home than a shop. We spend our days arranging the pieces and making sure everything looks right under the lights. Sometimes the rooms feel a bit small when we have several pieces out at once, but we make it work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle the cleaning, the hanging, and talking to anyone who wanders in. Most of our visitors are people from the neighborhood or folks who heard about us through word of mouth. It's peaceful here, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building. We don't go for the high-end, snooty gallery vibe. We just want people to feel comfortable looking around without feeling pressured. There’s usually some tea brewing in the back, and we’re happy to sit and chat if we aren't too busy with the paperwork. It’s a modest place at B-19, and we like keeping it that way because it lets the art be the main focus without any unnecessary distractions. It’s just a nice way to spend the day.
