Sultana Arts

Sultana Arts has its home at 29 Jungpura Extension Market. It’s a nice little corner of Delhi that feels a bit more like a neighborhood than a big city. The market here has everything you need, and we’ve been part of it for a good long while. Our shop is where we keep all the different pieces we work with. It’s not a huge gallery or anything like that; it’s more of a workshop and a store combined into one. There are always things leaning against the walls and crates waiting to be opened. We spend a lot of time cleaning and checking the items that come through our doors. The locals often stop by just to say hello or see what’s new. It’s a friendly place. The market gets busy in the evenings when everyone comes out to do their shopping, but the mornings are usually quite peaceful. We like the balance here. Our space is a bit crowded sometimes because we have a hard time saying no to interesting pieces, but we always find a spot for everything eventually. There is no corporate polish here, just a lot of dust, some old tools, and plenty of heart. We just do our thing every day, making sure the art is handled right and that we stay on top of the paperwork that comes with running a business in the middle of a local market.
