Shilpi Arts

Shilpi Arts is located right in the middle of South Extension here in Delhi. It’s a busy, crowded area but that’s where the energy is. We’ve been around for a long time, dealing with all sorts of art pieces and frames. Our shop is packed from floor to ceiling with stuff. There’s the smell of wood and paint and old paper everywhere you look. It’s not a modern gallery with white walls and lots of empty space. It’s more like a workshop where things actually get made. We spend our days measuring frames, cutting glass, and helping people figure out what looks good on their walls. South Ex is a great place to be, even if the parking is impossible and the noise never stops. We have regulars who have been coming to us for decades to get their photos or paintings fixed up. We don't do the whole corporate branding thing. We just have a sign over the door and we do our work. Sometimes we get really busy and there are frames leaning against every wall, and other times it’s just us dusting the shelves and organizing the tools. We like the hands-on part of the job the most.
