Sharma Framing House

Over in Okhla Industrial Estate Phase III, at E-129, is where we do all our work at Sharma Framing House. It’s a workshop through and through. You’ll hear the sound of saws cutting wood or glass being scored most of the day. We have frames of all kinds leaning against the walls—some simple wood, some with more detail. People bring in everything from family photos to big oil paintings that need a solid border. It’s a dusty place because of the sawdust, but we try to keep the glass clean. We’ve been at this location for a while, and the neighbors know us for being reliable with their artwork. We don't have a showroom with fancy lights. It’s just a big table where we measure things out and a few machines in the corner. Sometimes people come in with broken mirrors and ask if we can salvage the frame. We do what we can. It takes a steady hand to join the corners just right so they don't gap. We spend a lot of time talking to customers about what kind of mount would look good, but we don't push them to buy the expensive stuff. It’s just about what looks right for the piece. We work until the light fades, then lock up and head home. It’s simple, honest work that we enjoy. The smells of glue and wood are always in the air here at our Okhla shop every day.
