Kaaleem Carpets

We’ve been at 294/1/B on Dhanmill Road for a while now. It’s a busy spot in Chattarpur Pahari, right near Mehrauli. People usually find us when they’re looking for something specific for their floors. Kaaleem Carpets isn't a fancy place. Most days, it's just us moving rolls around and checking the stock. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, but that’s just how it is here. Dhanmill Road has changed a lot, yet we’re still in the same corner doing the same thing. It’s a lot of manual work. You spend your morning unrolling pieces and your afternoon rolling them back up. We don't have a big front office or anything. It's just the warehouse space and the carpets. Sometimes the traffic in Mehrauli makes it hard for deliveries to get through on time, which is frustrating for everyone. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, the whole floor gets covered. It's a simple operation. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall. If you walk past the Dhanmill gate, you’ll see our sign. It isn’t much to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s just piles of wool and patterns. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who drop by. There’s no big sales pitch here. You just look at what we have and see if it works for your house. We’re just regular people running a carpet shop.
