Carpet Arts

Carpet Arts is located at 3, Begampur Shivalik Road, over in Malviya Nagar. It’s a pretty decent neighborhood, though the traffic on Shivalik Road can be a real pain during the evenings. We’ve been here for a good bit now. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. We’ve got stacks of things everywhere you look. Sometimes a customer comes in and asks for something specific, and we have to move ten other things just to get to it. It’s a bit of a workout, actually. We don’t really have a big sales pitch or anything like that. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It’s usually pretty quiet in the mornings, which is when I like to get most of the cleaning done. By the afternoon, it gets busier. We know some of the neighbors, and they sometimes pop their heads in just to say hello. It feels like a community here. We have a small window that lets in some light, but mostly we rely on the overhead bulbs. The floor is a bit uneven in the back, so you have to watch your step when you walk back there. It’s just our little spot where we do our thing. No big corporate rules or fancy uniforms. Just us in our regular clothes, working away at number 3. We try to keep things simple and honest.
