Prabhakar Lal

My name is Prabhakar Lal. My address is House Number 182, New Manglpuri, near the post office in Mehrauli, New Delhi. The pin code is 110030. Mehrauli is an old part of the city, full of history and narrow lanes that can be hard to navigate. I’ve lived and worked here for years. It’s a bit crowded, but there’s a sense of community you don't find in the newer parts of Delhi. I run my operations from this house. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place where I get things done. I don’t believe in those polished brochures or big advertisements. I think my work should speak for itself. I spend my days keeping track of various tasks and making sure everything is in order. It’s a one-man show mostly, or at least it feels like it some days when things get hectic. I handle the calls, the paperwork, and the visitors. It keeps me on my toes. Being near the post office is handy for sending out documents without traveling too far. I’ve seen New Delhi change so much over the decades, but this little corner of Mehrauli stays pretty much the same. I like the reliability of it. I don’t have any grand plans to take over the world. I just want to do right by the people who find their way to my door. It’s a practical way to live, and it’s worked for me so far. No fluff, just effort.
