Sonali Shankar

Sonali Shankar is located at C-598 in New Friends Colony. This is a residential area, so it is much quieter than the industrial parts of the city where most businesses are usually found. We work out of this space and it has a more personal, homey feel to it than a typical office. There aren't many big signs or loud noises coming from the street around here. It’s just a regular house in a long row of other houses. Most of our day is spent sitting at the desk or meeting with the people who come by for their scheduled appointments. We like it here because of the big trees and the fact that you can actually hear yourself think during the day. The neighbors are mostly families who have lived in the colony for many years and they know us. It is definitely not a corporate office with a fancy lobby or a security guard standing at a front desk. You just have to ring the doorbell and come right in. We have set up a comfortable spot to do our work without all the unnecessary fuss of a commercial building. Sometimes we take a quick walk around the block just to clear our heads before the next task begins. The colony has its own slow pace and we try to stick to that rhythm. It feels more honest to work from a place that is lived in. If you are looking for C-598, it is pretty easy to find.
