Mehra'S Art Palace

We are right in the Main Market of G.K. Part-Ii, at M-1. If you walk through the market, you’ll probably see Mehra'S Art Palace eventually. It’s a small shop, but we’ve managed to pack a lot of things into it over the years. We mostly have art pieces and decorative stuff sitting on the shelves. It’s a bit dusty because we have so many items and not enough hands to clean them every day. The market is always busy, especially in the evenings, so we get a lot of people just wandering in to look around. We don’t try to push people to buy things. If they like something, they buy it. My brother and I run the place, and we’ve been here since the market was much smaller than it is now. We’ve seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood. Our shop hasn't changed much though. We still have the same old wooden counters and the floor is a bit worn down. We don't have a big website or do any of that social media stuff. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the day to start. It’s a quiet life for the most part, despite the noise of the market outside. We just like being surrounded by the things we’ve collected and sold for all these years. Sometimes we rearrange the shelves just to make more room, but it always ends up looking crowded again within a few days.
