Marble Art Palace

If you head down Mehrauli Gurgaon Road towards Ghitorni, you’ll find us at number 843. This whole area is full of stone shops and showrooms, so it gets quite dusty with all the cutting and polishing going on. At Marble Art Palace, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy slabs and making sure things are cut right. It’s not easy work and our hands usually show it by the end of the shift. The shop floor is always covered in a bit of white powder no matter how much we sweep it. We’ve been at this location for a while and have seen the metro line change how people get around here. Traffic on MG Road is always a headache, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a few of us who know about marble and stone. When someone walks in, they usually just want to see the textures and colors for themselves. We show them what we have in the yard and tell them how long it might take to get it ready. Sometimes the rain makes things messy in the back, but we just keep going. It is a straightforward business where the material does most of the talking. We like being in Ghitorni because it’s the heart of this kind of work in Delhi. It's a lot of physical labor, but it keeps us busy.
