Our place is over at number 8 in Humayunpur, which is part of the Safdarjung Enclave area. If you’ve ever walked through the lanes here, you know they can be a bit of a maze. We are tucked away in a spot that stays fairly active throughout the day. It’s a mix of people living here and small offices like ours. Being at number 8 means we see a lot of the local traffic, people walking to the market or grabbing a bite to eat nearby. The building is an older one, but it holds up well enough for what we do. We don’t have a big lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and we’re right there. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit in the afternoon, so we just take a break and sit outside for a minute. Safdarjung Enclave is a good area to be in, though finding a spot for a car near Humayunpur is almost impossible after ten in the morning. We usually tell people to just take an auto-rickshaw to get here. It's a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but there's always the sound of neighbors talking or someone moving furniture. It feels very much like a community here. We have our desks set up, some old filing cabinets, and the usual stuff you’d find in a working office. We’ve stayed here because it’s convenient and we know the neighborhood people who pass by our door.
