Indu Gupta Art

We are at 64, Sidhartha Enclave, which is near the Naped building by Ashram Chowk. It is a busy intersection but our spot in the enclave is a bit quieter than the main road. Indu Gupta Art is basically a place where we create and store various art pieces. We have canvases leaning against the walls and jars of brushes everywhere. The floor has some paint stains that we couldn't get out, but that’s just part of being an art studio. We spend our days working on different projects. Sometimes we are framing finished pieces and other times we are just starting something new. It’s not a sterile gallery; it’s a working space where things get messy. We don't have a big sales pitch for what we do. People usually come by because they saw something they liked or someone told them about us. Ashram Chowk is a landmark that everyone knows, so it’s easy to give directions. We have a small area where we keep the finished works wrapped in bubble wrap to keep them safe. It’s a modest setup and we like the feeling of the enclave. We just focus on the art and try to keep things moving. There is always a pot of tea on the go and some music playing in the background while we work.
