Arts India International

We are tucked away on the first floor at 214-A in Vinoba Puri, right in the Lajpat Nagar area. Arts India International is mostly just an office where we manage the day-to-day things. It is not a big gallery with white walls and bright spotlights like people might expect. Instead, it is a bit cluttered with samples, wooden crates, and a lot of shipping labels sitting on the desks. We spend most of our time dealing with various artists or figuring out how to get things from one place to another without any damage. The stairs up to our office are a bit narrow and steep, so moving any large boxes can be a real pain in the back. We have some art hanging on the walls, but it is mostly there because we like the look of it or because we are checking it for quality before it goes out. Lajpat Nagar is always busy and loud, so there is a constant hum of noise from the street traffic below that we have just learned to ignore over the years. We are not trying to be fancy or pretend to be high-end. We just work with different people to move art around and make sure everything is handled properly and on time. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It is a small operation where everyone does a bit of everything.
