Art Value Gallery

Art Value Gallery is located at 125-A, on the first floor. We are right across from Asiad Village in the Shahpur Jat area. If you look for the Bookwise shop, we are very close to that. Shahpur Jat is a funny place, lots of narrow lanes and designer shops mixed with old houses. Our gallery is up a flight of stairs. It’s a decent sized room where we keep various pieces of art. We aren't trying to be anything too grand. It's just a place where art can be seen and talked about. The floors are a bit creaky and sometimes the windows rattle when a big truck goes by outside. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass on frames and moving things around to make more room. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, which is nice for looking at the works. We get people who are just wandering through the village and happen to see our sign. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a high-tech security system. Just a locked door and someone usually sitting at the desk near the front. It’s a bit of a struggle to get larger paintings up the stairs, but we manage. The neighborhood is full of creative people, so we fit in well enough. We stay open until the evening when the shops around here start to close. It’s just a simple gallery run by people who appreciate the work and the local community vibe.
