Springfield Public School

Springfield Public School is right here in Baldev Nagar, just along the Chandigarh Highway in Ambala City. Being on the main road means we see a lot of trucks and cars passing by all day long. It gets a bit noisy sometimes, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our building in Solan isn't anything too fancy, just a practical place where kids come to learn their lessons. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take short bus rides to get here every morning before the first bell. The playground isn't huge, but there’s enough space for the younger ones to run around during the break. We spend a lot of our time making sure the classrooms are ready and the chalkboards are clean. Sometimes the fans make a clicking sound, and we have to call the local repairman to take a look. Parents stop by the office to pay fees or just to check how their kids are doing in class. We have some big trees near the entrance that give a bit of shade during the hotter months. It’s a lot of daily chores, like keeping the registers updated and making sure the water coolers are full. We don't have a big fancy lobby, just a simple desk where visitors sign in. The floors are concrete and we try to keep them swept twice a day because of all the dust from the highway.
