Up here in Dharampur, the air is a bit different than what you get down in the plains. Pinegrove School is located right in this quiet patch of Solan. Most days start with a bit of a chill, especially in the winter months when the sun takes its time coming over the hills. We have a lot of stairs and paths that go up and down because of how the land is shaped. It keeps everyone moving, that is for sure. The school buildings look solid and have been through plenty of monsoon seasons. You can hear the wind through the trees most afternoons. We don't have the big city noise here, just the sound of kids talking and the bell ringing every now and then. Sometimes a stray dog wanders onto the grounds and we have to shoo it away. The classrooms are simple, with wooden desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running, checking the roofs and making sure the heaters are ready. It is a slow pace of life in 173209, but it suits us just fine. People know where we are, right along the road. We just keep to our routine and make sure the gates are locked at night. It is a decent place to be if you like the mountains and a bit of peace while you work.
