Palak Mercantiles

You can find us on Church Road in the Darjeeling district. It’s a nice spot to work from, even if the mountain roads can be a bit tricky sometimes. We have been running Palak Mercantiles for a while now, dealing with different kinds of goods that the local people and businesses need. Our office and storage space are pretty basic. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations or a big sales team. It’s just us and the inventory we keep on hand. Being in Darjeeling, we see a lot of different people coming through, and we try to stock things that are actually useful for the community. Some days are quiet, especially when the weather is bad, and other days we are rushing to get things sorted. We don't really do much advertising. Most of our business comes from people who live nearby or have heard about us from their friends. We just try to be fair and helpful whenever someone walks through the door. It’s a small-scale operation, and we prefer it that way because it lets us get to know our customers better. We handle the paperwork, manage the stock, and make sure deliveries happen as they should. It is a steady life here on Church Road. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making sure we do our jobs right every day and keep the business going for the long term.
