Bazari Hardware Stores

You can find us in the Hotel Gateway Building on Sevoke Road in Siliguri. It’s a busy part of town, especially with all the traffic heading towards the hills. We can see the weather changing over the mountains from the end of the road sometimes. Our store is full of all kinds of hardware bits and pieces. There are shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, packed with boxes of screws, hinges, and tools. It’s a bit of a struggle to keep it all organized, but we try our best. When someone comes in asking for something specific, we usually know exactly which pile it’s hidden in. The floor gets a bit dusty from all the foot traffic, but that’s just part of running a shop. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day, usually ordered from the little stall nearby. The sound of the road is always there in the background. Sometimes it gets so loud we have to wait a second to hear what a customer is saying. Siliguri is a growing place, and we’ve seen a lot of new buildings go up around us. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. It’s a simple hardware store, nothing more and nothing less. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. It’s a decent way to spend the day and we have no complaints about the work we do here.
