Novelty Ware House

Novelty Ware House is located in Punjabi Para, right near the Pani Tanki More. That water tank is a landmark everyone uses to find their way around here. The warehouse itself is a large, open building that stays pretty cool even when it’s hot outside because of the high ceilings. We have stacks of boxes piled up almost to the roof, and we spend most of our time moving things around with the pallet jack. It’s a noisy neighborhood with people shouting and rickshaws honking their horns outside all day. We don’t have a proper office, just a small wooden cabin built into one corner where we keep the invoices and the phone. There’s always someone coming or going, either dropping off a load or picking one up. It can get pretty chaotic when two trucks arrive at the same time and there’s no room to turn around. We try to keep things in order, but with so much stock coming in, it’s a constant battle against the mess. Sometimes we sit on the steps outside during our lunch break and watch the people passing by on their way to the market. We’ve been operating out of this spot for years and the locals know us by name. It’s not a polished business, just a place where things are stored and shipped out, and that’s how we like it.
