Dream Interior

We have been here on Sevoke Road for a good while now, right in the Axis Bank Building. If you know this part of Darjeeling, you know it gets busy and the traffic can be a real headache. Dream Interior is not some giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us. We spend most of our days looking at floor plans and picking out materials that will actually last. People come in looking for help with their homes or offices, and we just try to figure out what fits their space. Sometimes the logistics of getting things delivered up here in the hills can be tricky, but that is just part of the job. We handle a lot of different things, from basic cupboards to full room setups. Most of the time, the shop is a bit messy with samples and catalogs spread all over the place. It is not always pretty to look at, but the work gets done eventually. My desk is usually covered in drawings and half-empty tea cups. We do not have a big fancy team, just people who know how to measure things properly so nothing wobbles. We see the same faces around the neighborhood a lot. It is nice being near the bank because people often stop by while they are out running errands. We usually have a pot of tea going if someone wants to sit and talk.
