Sarswati Vidya Mandir School Dalash

You can find us over on Rest House Road in the town of Dalash. Being in the Kullu area means we have some nice mountain views, but mostly we are just focused on what is happening inside our classrooms. We are part of the Anni block. The school has been here for the local families for quite some time now. Every morning the kids walk up the road or get dropped off near the main gate. It is a very simple setup. We have wooden desks, some charts on the walls, and teachers who know every student by their first name. It is not like those big city schools you see in the movies. We deal with the basics. When it snows or rains hard, things slow down a bit around here, but we try to keep the lessons moving forward. People in Dalash know us as a place where their children can get an education without having to travel too far from home. We spend our days teaching things like math, social studies, and languages. The playground gets a lot of use during the lunch hour. It is often a bit noisy with all the shouting and running, but that is normal. We don't have any fancy equipment, just what is needed for a proper day of learning. Our staff lives in the area too. We just want the kids to finish school with some decent knowledge and be ready for whatever comes next.
