Rampur Bushar Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our office for Rampur Bushar Farmer Producer Company Limited is in the Negi Complex. It’s on the first floor, right near where Roshan Halwai has his shop in Ward No 4. You can usually smell the sweets being made while we are working on the company books. Balbhbhadur Singh Negi owns the building, and we’ve been here for a while now. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep. Inside, it’s mostly just chairs, a few tables, and a lot of folders. We work with a lot of different farmers from around the Rampur area. Everyone comes in to discuss their yields and what the market is looking like. It gets pretty loud on market days. We try to keep things organized, but there is always a lot of paperwork to go through. We don't have fancy marketing people or a big website. It’s just a group of us trying to make the farmer producer company function. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound, but we don’t mind it much. We know most of the people who walk through that door by their first names. Being near the halwai is a bit of a distraction, but it’s a good landmark for people coming from out of town. We just keep our heads down and handle the logistics of the agricultural trade here in the ward. There is always someone coming in with a new question about their crops.
