Down in Shahjahanpur, specifically at Prasad Bhawan in Chaubhurji, you’ll find us. Vasudhara Farm Producer Company Limited is the name we use for the official side of things, but really it’s just a gathering of folks from the area. The building is an old landmark for us. We sit out there and talk about the prices of grain and how the weather is changing. Being in UP, we get all kinds of conditions. We’re focused on the farms around here, helping each other out when the harvest comes. It’s a local effort. We don't have a big budget for fancy offices, so we just use what we have. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know the local soil pretty well. We’re moving towards doing things more naturally, which is a bit of a shift, but it’s interesting to see how the plants respond. There’s a lot of tea drinking and waiting for the right moment to plant. It’s not a high-stress environment, though there’s always work to be done. We keep things simple and try to be fair with everyone. If you’re looking for us, just head toward the S/O Prasad Bhawan. Someone will be around to point you in the right direction. It’s just how things work in this part of town. We don't have a website or anything, just our presence here. We just take it one day at a time.
