Vishwatej Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Grampanchayat Javal. It’s a small place in the Lode area of Tasgaon. We are right in the heart of Sangli. This company was started because a bunch of us farmers wanted to have our own way of doing things together. It’s not a big city setup with fancy computers and glass walls. We spend most of our time out in the fields or meeting at the Grampanchayat office building. The address is 416312, which is where we all live and work every day. We don't have any professional writers to talk for us. It’s just us, the people who grow the crops in this soil. We wanted to make sure the farmers in Tasgaon had a place to call their own. It’s a lot of hard work and the sun is usually very hot, but we manage. We handle the producer side of things. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit confusing for us, but we help each other out. We aren't trying to be some giant corporation that nobody can talk to. We just want to make sure our local village has a voice. It’s a simple life here in Javal. We talk about the weather and the crops and how to get things to the market. That’s pretty much the whole story. No big secrets or special tricks, just farming and working together as a group in Sangli.
