Hortikar Agro Products Private Limited

We started Hortikar Agro Products Private Limited because we’ve been around farming all our lives here in Sangli. Our place is out at Gat No-130/2 in Umadital-Jat. It is a quiet spot but we stay busy with the land. Working in agriculture isn't always easy, especially with the weather changing, but it is what we know. We mostly deal with the crops that grow well in this part of Maharashtra. We aren't a big fancy office. It’s just us working with the dirt and the seeds. People around here know where to find us if they need anything related to the agro business. We keep things pretty simple. Some days are long, starting before the sun is even up, but that is just how it goes. We try to handle our products carefully so they don't get ruined before they reach whoever needs them. The address is a bit out of the way for some, but it works for what we do. We don't spend much time on computers or making things look pretty for the internet. Most of our day is spent outside or in the shed checking on things. If you come by Umadi, you will see the work we are putting in. It’s a family kind of setup really. We just want to keep the business running and make sure the crops are handled right. That’s about it for us. We just keep moving and trying to stay busy.
