Pranjali Agrotech Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at Sanjay Shamrao Jadhav’s house in Shahu Nagar. We are part of Islampur, in the Walwa taluka of Sangli district. This part of the country is rich in agriculture, and most of us have been in the fields since we were kids. We started this producer company because we wanted to stop being dependent on middlemen who don't understand how hard we work. Sanjay’s place is where we handle the business side of things. It’s a local setup, with no corporate polish. We spend our time checking on each other’s crops and figuring out how to get them sold for a decent price. Sangli has great soil, but the market can be tough to navigate. By working as a group, we can share the load. It’s not always easy, and there’s a lot of paperwork that we’re still learning how to handle. We aren't trying to be the biggest agrotech company out there. We just want to make sure our local community in Islampur can keep farming without losing money every year. It’s a humble operation, run by people who actually know what it’s like to work in the sun all day. We value the land and the people who work it. We take things one day at a time and try to stay steady. It is honest work and we are proud of the farms we tend.
