Singla Traders

Singla Traders is tucked away in Subhashnagar, right behind Ajit Medicals in the Deepjyoti building. If you’re looking for us, just look for the medical shop and head around the back. It’s a quiet enough spot, though the street gets crowded when the school nearby lets out. We’ve been trading from here for a good while. The space is a bit cramped because we have so much stock piled up against the walls. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People mostly just come in, ask for what they need, and we pull it from the shelves. Sometimes we have to move three things just to get to the one item at the bottom of the pile. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us and we know where everything is. My brother and I usually handle most of the day-to-day stuff. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything. Most people find us because they live nearby or someone told them we had what they were looking for. We spend a lot of time counting inventory and writing things down in our ledgers. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We try to be fair and just get through the day without too many problems. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back, talking about the cricket score.
