Our warehouse is at Plot No. E-3/2 in the M.I.D.C. area of Kupwad. If you know the industrial zone, you know it’s a lot of similar-looking buildings and wide roads. We’ve been operating out of this plot for a good while now. It’s a trading business, so our days are mostly about moving stock in and out of the doors. We have stacks of crates and bags everywhere. It’s not very organized to a stranger’s eye, but we have our own system and we know where the items are. The air in Kupwad can get quite dry and dusty, so we spend a lot of time sweeping out the warehouse floor. We don't have a fancy storefront or anything. Most of our business happens over the phone or with people driving their pickups right to our gate. We have a small crew, mostly local guys from the nearby villages. We eat our lunch together in the shade of the building when it gets too hot to work inside. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us working together to get the orders loaded correctly. We don’t spend money on advertisements or shiny signs. People around here know us by word of mouth and they just drop in. We deal in basic goods that people need for their shops or farms. It’s honest work. Sometimes the trucks are late and we have to wait around.
