Venkateshwara Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are over here in Manerajuri, right in the Tasgaon taluka of Sangli. Most of the time, it’s just us farmers working together under the name Venkateshwara Farmers Producer Company Limited. The office isn't much to look at, being just a simple place where we get the paperwork done and talk about the crops. Around here, everyone knows where we are because Manerajuri is a small place where the soil connects us all. It made sense for the local growers to have a collective, so we started this company. Busy days come and go, especially when the harvest is nearly in and everyone is stressed about the weather or the market prices. Instead of a fancy website or a marketing team, it’s just a group of us trying to figure out the best way to handle our produce. Sometimes you will see us sitting around a table drinking tea while discussing seeds or how the rain in Sangli hasn't been enough this year. Hard work is part of the deal, and even if we don't get it right every time, we keep going because that's life on the land. Finding us is easy if you are passing through the district. We aren't looking to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable one for the folks in this part of the state. We take things one day at a time and see what happens next. It keeps us busy.
