Our company, Shreesidhi Farmtech Producer Companylimited, operates out of Shigaon in the Walwa taluka of Sangli. We are set up at Uday Aannadarao Patil’s place, over at Warana Prasad in Shivajinagar. If you know the area, it is near the post office. We are a bunch of farmers who wanted to bring a bit more technology into how we handle our crops and business. Sangli is known for good farming, but things are changing and we have to keep up. We don't have a big flashy office building. It is just a regular house where we keep our records and meet up to talk about the farm work. Sometimes the meetings go long because there is always something to fix or a new way to try and grow things. We are all from around here, so we understand the local ground and the water situation. We just wanted a legal way to work together so we could get better deals on equipment and supplies. It is a lot of hard work, especially when the weather doesn't behave, but having the company makes it a bit easier to manage the logistics. We aren't trying to be some big city corporation. We are just farmers from Shigaon trying to do things a bit smarter.
