Shree Revanshidh Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Vitthal Pawar’s house in Vitasulewadi. It’s house number 2/48. We are in the Khanapur part of Sangli district, near Vita. The land around here can be pretty dry, so we have to be careful with what we plant. A few of us got together to form this producer company because it was getting too expensive to buy fertilizers and seeds on our own. We aren't some big business with a lot of money. We are just neighbors who know each other's families. We meet up at Vitthal’s place to discuss which markets are looking good and who has extra space on their truck. It’s a lot of practical stuff, like figuring out how to fix a broken pump or where to find better cattle feed. We don't have a website or any of that stuff. If someone wants to join us, they just come over to the house and we talk it out. It’s a lot of long hours in the sun, and sometimes the harvest isn’t what we hoped for. But being together makes it a bit easier to handle the bad years. We just want to keep our farms running and maybe save a little for the future. It’s honest, hard work and we don't know any other way to live.
