You can find us on the Tasgaon Karad Road, specifically at number 1804 in Yelavi. This is where Ajinkya Anil Patil and the rest of us run the Shiv Padma Agro company. We are right in the heart of the farming belt here in Tasgaon. Most of us around here grow grapes or other local crops that do well in this soil. We decided to start this company because we were tired of being at the mercy of middle-men who didn't understand how much sweat goes into every bunch of fruit. Now, we try to handle things ourselves. We are a group of farmers who trust each other. The office is just a place where we keep the files and meet up after a long day in the sun. It’s not fancy at all. We talk about the weather, the cost of transport, and how the crops are looking. Some days are good and some are tough, but having the company gives us a bit of a safety net. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Maharashtra. We just want to do a good job for the farmers who are part of our group. It’s about being fair and working together. If you’re driving down the Karad road, you’ll pass right by us. We are just regular people doing what we’ve always done, just in a more organized way now. We focus on getting the work done and looking after our own.
