Shetisampada Farma Producer Company Limited

It started at Dipak Sudam Kenjale’s place here in Jadhavwadi. We are just a group from Tasgaon trying to do things better with our crops. It’s not a big fancy office, just house number 165 where we meet up and talk about the harvest. Some of us have been farming since we were kids. This company was put together because doing it alone was getting harder every year. We deal with the soil and the weather every single day. Sometimes the rain helps, sometimes it doesn’t. That’s just how it is here. Most people know where the house is if they need to find us. We don’t have fancy signs or a big reception area. It’s mostly just us sitting around and figuring out how to get our produce moved. People in the village know us by name anyway. We keep things simple because that’s what we know. There’s a lot of paperwork with these producer companies but we manage. Jadhavwadi is a quiet spot, and we like it that way. You might see us loading up things early in the morning. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation. We just want to make sure the families here get a fair shake for the stuff they grow. It’s a lot of back and forth between the fields and the house. We just keep moving and hope for a good season next year too.
