Mrudgandha Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited

We operate out of House Number 389 in Tasgaon. It’s the home of Jagdishprasad Dinkar Bobhate. Since we are a farmer producer company, most of our time is spent in the fields around here. Tasgaon is known for its agriculture, especially the grapes, and we are right in the middle of it. We use the house as a central spot to get together and plan. It isn't a formal corporate environment. Usually, there's tea and some talk about the crops and the rain. We focus on the practical side of farming, like where to get the seeds or how to handle the irrigation when it gets dry. It's a lot of manual labor and long hours during the harvest. We decided to form this company to help ourselves and our neighbors get a better handle on the business. It can be confusing to deal with the markets alone. We are just regular people who have been farming for generations. The name Mrudgandha relates to the smell of the earth, which is something we are all very familiar with. We handle the daily chores and then come back to the house to sort out the logistics of the company. It's a very grounded way of living. We don't have any big promises, just the daily effort of working the land. People in Tasgaon know us and where we stay. We are just trying to make things work for the farmers around here.
