Our company, Jay Shivashree Farmers Producer Company Limited, is located in Gotkhindi, which is part of the Walwa taluka. We work out of Sambhaji Rangrav Sawant’s place. It’s a typical village setup where work and home life kind of blend together every day. We are a bunch of farmers who realized that working alone was getting harder every year. So, we started this producer company to handle our business better. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building. Mostly, it's just a few of us sitting around Sawant’s porch talking about the next harvest or how to get the tractor fixed before Monday. The village is small, so news travels fast, and everyone knows what we are doing. We focus on the crops we grow here in Gotkhindi. It’s a lot of physical work, and our clothes are usually dusty by noon. We don’t really have a set schedule; we work when the sun is up and stop when the work is finally done. It’s honest work, even if it’s not always easy. We handle everything from buying seeds together to finding a way to get our produce to the market without losing too much money. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big talk. We just want to keep the farms running and make sure the community stays strong.
